Entre nunca y jamás

"Me pasé la vida preocupándome por cosas que nunca ocurrieron."

Entre nunca y jamás

  1. Very interesting coming from Churchill. I always saw him as a happy warrior, as I saw FDR, but I guess no one is immuned to the trap of worry. I am an Old Testament guy, but I know that in the New Testament there is the admonition that no one can add to his life by worry. Implied in that is we can diminish our lives, or at least the quality of life, by worry. Churchill admits that he worried about things that never happened. Funny, since he had enough to worry about with the things that actually happened. I don't like worrying about things that may or may not happen, but maybe a great leader must take all possibilities into consideration. The people in your image seem to be taking what comes, but we never know what is in the mind of others.

    1. I think it´s somehow unavoidable to be worry about the future, because future is uncertain. We don´t know if things will be better, or maybe if there will be a future at least. The only thing we can do is wait and live the present. A big hug, my dear friend.
