There is a great painting by Raphael of Aristotle and Plato which is not only wonderful as art, but for the way it comments on the philosophical differences of the two men. Plato has his hand and finger in the air just as the woman in your photo. It is meant to show his belief in universal received ideals. Aristotle has his hands down to indicate the importance of human reason, intuition, and logic when dealing with the received ideals. I was struck by the way your photo and the painting by Raphael seemed to contain both sides of the issue raised by the quote of Gala. For the record, I agree with Aristotle and Gala, but there are many who do not. Once again, you have astonished me. Respect, Dear Friend
