Tienda adentro

  1. I think that it is a truism that customers are not friends. They are a source of income, and that is as it should be. When I enter a shop, bistro, cafe, or other business, I want to be treated as a customer who should be served and cared for, because I could just as easily go elsewhere. So the rule works both ways. To the business owner, we are a customer and an opportunity to make a living. To us , the business owner is one who gives us value and service for our money. A truly symbiotic relationship. I have lived in the USA and now France, and I much prefer the business owners and service people in France. There is a wonderful understanding that makes the free enterprise system work. Good service and products and polite treatment, and I will be back. If not, not. Your image shows a good shopkeeper who will gives value for money, but not be your friend. Kisses my friend

    1. I agree with you. I had a little bussiness, and customers sometimes were good companions, and sometimes becomed friends (that´s not usual, but happens). The secret, in fact, is a good service. You told it "a symbiotic relationship'. Lots of kisses and a big hug, dear Michael.
